 Dear readers,
2006 in the UK, is all about 30 years of Punk Rock.
Every band we listen to today, has been somewhat influenced by the genre.
In celebration, a number of gigs are taking place, The Damned, The Buzzcocks, The UK Subs...if they're still alive and standing they will be crowding a stage near you.
If you did not experience this phenomenon first time around, now is your chance.
We couldn't let this milestone pass us by without talking to influential instigator Sex pistols' Glen Matlock.
Coincidentally, Punk icon Henry Rollins was in town and I just couldn't help myself...
However also wanting to keep up with today's happenings, we checked out Steranko and The Dirty Feel, two of the most interesting and not to be missed acts, the London music scene has to offer. |
