Hello everyone and welcome back from your summer breaks.
Unfortunately it’s back to work for all of us!

Trying to avoid the predictable festival circuit, we have opted instead to concentrate on homegrown talent and usual suspects on the London music scene.

For your reading pleasure and in order to appease my curiosity on why some of the best bands around haven’t been signed yet to major record labels, while some of the worst music ever is legally allowed to pollute our air waves, I have taken the time to chew the fat with legendary, ‘often associated with the best’ South London quartet Metro Riots, up-and-coming twosome Chauffeur Driven Aviator, brainchild of ‘couldn’t get more praise if he tried’ Paul Millings and undisputed kings of the stage, ‘not to be messed with’ rock outfit Steranko.

Unfortunately I am still in the dark as far as trying to understand A&R guys’ decision making process is concerned but we’ve all concluded that the music business may have changed for the worst and an epidemic of laziness, risk taking shyness and lack of vision is spreading among the major record companies, and what a shame!

But before you start crying, don’t forget to enter our prize draw for a chance to WIN a pair of tickets to a Dirty Pretty Things London benefit concert [opened by Metroriots] and read some reviews!! |
