Welcome to our long awaited April issue!
Some of you have asked why it has taken us so long to come up with something new. Well, we can only say that we have been victims of Life!
Time passing faster than ever before, unfortunately bereavement and depression, quite a bit of partying, music listening and travelling among other things.
But we’re back, fighting and kicking and we promise not to make you wait so long next time!
This issue is very much turned towards The States, [no doubt influenced by my February trip to Los Angeles], which allows us to bring you a few American treasures. The Winter Flowers, The Stereo Workers Union, The Black Angels, Cold War Kids, Sarabeth Tucek, The Hold Steady... as geographically scattered across the US map as their musical genres are varied. And that’s why we love them so much!
Bands you may or may not have heard of, bands we’re hoping everyone will hear about, but in any case names we recommend you watch out for.
We’ve also introduced some French reviews, This Is Pop & Tu seras terriblement gentille, [‘French only’ readers we’ve heard you! and non French readers... well... we can only apologise!] as to glimpse the parisian music scene.
Thanks again for being here with us! |
