On the 16th July 2007 a gig took place which has been described by many as one of the best punk gigs of all time!

As a benefit for Paul Fox who had been diagnosed with inoperable Cancer, it was a gig born of tragic circumstances that had a profound effect on everyone there, fans and artists alike. All the artists performed for free and all egos were left at the door. The ‘plug in and play’ nature of the night and the limited time available meant that we got the very best from every artist and many of them performed with an intensity and vibrancy reminiscent of the early days. Nobody who managed to get one of the much sought after tickets and was lucky enough to attend that night was left in any doubt that they were witnessing a truly historic event.

On Friday 25th January 2008 as a tribute to Paul Fox and Malcolm Owen we will be screening, for one night only, a film of that evening. It is an amazing film and features the highlights of the gig plus the thoughts of some of those involved.

Henry Rollins will be there to introduce the film and share some of his thoughts on the Ruts, their music and the gig.

We will also have live performances by some very special guests playing the Songs of the Ruts. The final line up will be confirmed very soon but needless to say it will be another amazing assortment of artists!

This is set to be an amazing evening and definitely one not to be missed!

This is also the launch night of the collectors DVD package of the gig.

We are producing a high quality collectible double DVD package of one of the best punk gigs of all time.

The first run is a very special limited edition tribute to Paul Fox and Malcolm Owen it will include extra footage and a signed photo and will only be available by pre-ordering before 13th December 2007. Although a few may be available for sale at the gig.
